ECB Financial is a bookkeeping/accounting business that serves small and start-up businesses.  We are located in State College PA and our clients are in the Centre Region. 

Our mission is to provide accurate and timely bookkeeping services and financial statements to small and young businesses, providing start-up businesses with a strong bookkeeping and accounting basis from the start and providing flexibility in developing better bookkeeping and accounting systems in more mature small businesses.

Owner – Eric C. Bengtson
Eric has been involved in doing accounting, taxes, business planning and consulting with small and large businesses for over 20 years.   Of those 20 years he enjoyed most the 10 plus years he worked with small businesses.  Prior to starting ECB Financial, Eric spent 12 years as the Business Manager for Penn State’s World Campus, helping that initiative get off the ground and grow into a very large organization.

Prior to Penn State’s World Campus, Eric spent more than ten years working with small businesses.  Eric’s clients have been sole proprietors, partnerships, and corporations. He has provided a complete range of financial services to these clients from bookkeeping to consulting on complex business transfers.

Eric enjoys working closely with small business managers on their finances.  With a background in training and education (Eric has taught in public school and has taught at the college level), Eric likes to help his clients learn how to interpret their financial information and learn how to put their financial information to use.
